Plan your festive meal

Celebrate Christmas in style at Princesshay this year

Food is one of the best things about Christmas, and dining out with your family, friends and colleagues means you can enjoy the festive period together without having to worry about mountains of washing up. Whether you prefer classic Christmas dishes or fancy trying some less conventional festive flavours, Princesshay’s restaurants have it covered.

The marvellous Menu Festivo at Carluccio’s is focused on gathering friends and family members for a hearty Italian banquet. Get yourself in the festive mood with their set menu: the two course and three course options are both packed with seasonal treats such as Saltimbocca di Pollo al Vin Santo and award winning Panettone.

YO! Sushi

There’s no better way to get over winter blues than a Monday visit to YO! Sushi. Their Blue Mondays invite you and your friends to take a seat at the sushi conveyer and choose from dozens of blue plates, priced at just £2.80 each. Our favourites include Takoyaki, Salmon Chahan and Pumpkin Katsu – delicious tidbits that are an antidote to stale mince pies and leftover turkey.

Coal Grill & Bar

While a lump of coal in the bottom of your stocking is the definition of Christmas disappointment, a festive visit to Coal Grill & Bar is the exact opposite. Choose their Exeter restaurant for your Christmas party, and you’ll be treated to a scrumptious selection of comfort food ranging from Winter Vegetable Soup to Grilled Minute Steak and White Chocolate & Raspberry Brulee Cheesecake. Two course and three course options are available.

Café Rouge

Forget White Christmas: make it Rouge with the Christmas Party Menu at Café Rouge. Whether you choose two courses or three, the Christmas offerings in this French-style brasserie include Goose & Fig Rillettes, Turkey Ballotine and Gingerbread Parfait – an ideal way to celebrate the festive season in style.

You don’t have to fill your plate with sprouts and spuds for your Christmas meal – why not think outside the box and indulge in a Japanese feast at Wagamama? Their curries and noodle soups will make you forget about the wintery weather outside the window, from tummy-warming Grilled Duck Ramen to creamy Chicken Katsu Curry.

Giraffe World Kitchen

Just as Santa travels the world delivering presents, you can experience a global Christmas dinner with Giraffe’s continent-hopping party menu. Discover how different countries celebrate Christmas with a diverse cultural selection including Middle Eastern Salmon and  Peruvian Steak Huancaina.  We’d also recommend ordering a Smoked Pomegranate Margarita to start your evening!

At Byron, Christmas is all about cheese – not corny pop hits from yesteryear, but deliciously melty burger-toppings to satisfy your winter hunger pangs. This year the star of the show is the ‘The Fromagemas’ burger – it even comes with a jug of cheese sauce on the side!

Nando’s platters are ideal for parties who want to get into the Christmas spirit of sharing. Mix things up with different spice levels and sides while tucking into one of the mega-sized peri-peri banquets. The multifaceted Fino Platter is big enough for a pair to share, while the epic Jumbo Platter can feed between four and six festive folk.
