Spotlight on: Giraffe

Taste a whole new world with Giraffe’s eclectic mix of cuisines…

Giraffe’s dishes and street food favourites are bursting with full-on flavours and aromatic spices handpicked from across the world. Try tea like they take it in Morocco or Kati Rolls with cumin-roasted cauliflower and chickpeas – a street food staple from Kolkata.

The World Kitchen has a growing reputation for being a family-friendly foodie destination too, with one of the best kid’s menu on offer. Choose from Cheese and Tomato Quesadillas, a Sunshine Salad or Bangers and Beans – sure to go down well with little ones.

The chefs at the vibrant restaurant passionately pride themselves on bringing tastes of far-flung flavours to your doorstep, and we think the Exeter food scene is all the more better for it.

For adults, there’s a huge range of unique dishes to indulge in. We love the new dishes on the World Tapas menu. The Smoky Chorizo – pan-roasted chorizo in a sweet honey and sherry vinegar glaze is a slice of heaven on a plate, as is the new Sweet Chilli Plantain Taco, and Karaage Chicken – Japanese style fried chicken topped with sesame seeds. Where else can you get three different cuisines in one order?

The new Bowls for the Soul are also full to the brim with flavour and seriously worth a try. Choose from Linguine King Prawns – a light pasta dish, or the Vietnamese Steamboat with honey and soy glazed sea bream in a broth of bok choy.

As if that isn’t enough to choose from, Giraffe have three Turkish flatbreads to choose from, including the delicious Spicy Lamb Sujuk Pide – topped with lamb sausage, spinach and creamy feta.

Wash it all down with a Mexican Sunset cocktail, Cuban Mojito or Singapore Sling just for good measure.

What’s more, Giraffe’s got a great offer on at the moment. Enjoy five tapas and a bottle of wine for £24.95. The fab offer is available every day from 5pm! What are you waiting for?
