Vegan dishes you’ll want to try at Princesshay

You’ll find tasty options galore at our restaurants and cafés…

1. Wagamama

Choose from six mains, four sides, two desserts and even certified-vegan wine and beer. The yasai itame is delicious – a big bowl of rice noodles, tofu, stir-fried beansprouts, onions, bok choi, peppers, mushrooms, chilli, coriander and fresh lime in a spicy green coconut and lemongrass soup.

2. Costa Coffee

Costa’s brand new Oaty Bakes are full of sticky, jammy, vegan-y goodness. And yes, it’s totally acceptable to have one for brekkie with a coconut flat white!

3. YO! Sushi

There’s more to sushi than raw fish, as YO! Sushi proves. Tell your server you’re vegan and enjoy the likes of green gyoza (spinach dumplings), agedashi tofu, spicy cauliflower, miso dumpling ramen, pumpkin katsu (deep-fried pumpkin with sweet soy) and harusame aubergine (aubergine in a garlic, ginger and sesame soy dressing).

4. Carluccio’s

With a separate dairy free menu marked with vegan symbols, you’re in safe hands at this Italian restaurant. Try the zucca con verdure arrostite, a slow-roasted butternut squash topped with a mound of roasted vegetables, sprinkled with pine nuts and garlic herb breadcrumbs.

5. Café Rouge

Weaving its way into modern French culture and cuisine, the delicious vegetable tagine at Café Rouge is based on the traditional Moroccan recipe and is packed with roasted courgette, carrots, butternut squash, baby spinach and chickpeas, topped with toasted almonds and coriander chutney.
